Expecto Patronum Grunkle Stan!

Day 2 (Potterweek Prompts): Expecto Patronum!
Dipper and Mabel show off their magic to muggle! Stanley Pines.

My headcannons are down below:

- Dipper and Mabel spend the summer holidays at home, but by their second year, their parents are too busy with personal issues and thus left them with their Grunkle Stan. They are both muggle-born magic users, and attend Ilvermorny, not Hogwarts.

- The twins are born in 1999, by the time they reach 11 years old it’s the year of 2010, whereas Hogwarts was closed for repair following the Battle of Hogwarts in 1998, and was only reopened according to Wiki, sometime in 2017.

- Stanford Pines is also a muggle-born. Pa Pines is a squib in a supposedly pure-blooded family, Ma pines and Stanley are muggles. Ford goes to Hogwarts and loved the muggle world mysteries as much as he loved magic. He keeps up-to-date with his muggle studies through his brother’s homework. The twins grow as close as they can be, although Stanley will have his moments; slowly realizing that Ford has already crossed the seas without him. And he, without brains or magic, will never really mount up to anything.

- After Stanley finished up high school, Stanford had already come back from Hogwarts and was talking about the wonderful things he’s been studying. He had some research funded by the Ministry of Magic, Stanley accidentally ruins it, thus getting kicked out of the house.

- Ford determined to continue his research even without the magical society’s help, turns to muggle colleges to see if his research will be successful there. Ends up in a dump college as he has no high school certificate to his name, only his brains, unproven of its brilliance in the eyes of the muggles.

- This is where Bill comes in, once Ford arrives in Gravity Falls, a wizard who curses both his brother and the wizarding society; it wasn’t hard to sway him in his favour. The events follows are the same as GF.

- Stanley, fascinated by magic (like Anna to Elsa’s ice) now dislikes it, as it reminds him of his brother. That is slowly changed by the arrival of Dipper and Mabel.

- Patronus Charms are particularly advanced spells. But Harry has managed to do so at a tender age of 13, so the twins will be fine. But just in case, although it doesn’t show, their patronus forms are unstable and small, Mabel with a Quokka and Dipper with Sawwhet Owl. T’was @ashiniix ‘s idea. Look them up they are adorable as hell omg.

- This ends in this scene, Grunkle Stan saying that honestly magic hasn’t done him much bedazzling good, and Mabel and Dipper perform a Patronus charm to cheer him up.

Eh, I might come up with more art or writing, who knows? But for now that’s all I’ve got! I love it when Grunkle Stan is just a squib. He's awesome as a human already. don't need to magic to spuff him up! The guy's already gold tbh.
